History

Michael Mauldin founded the firm in December of 2002 as a one-man-show when he rented a single office from an attorney client.  The attorney was nice enough to lease him a second office after a short time so Michael could hire a part-time bookkeeper to assist.  After a couple of years, the firm moved to a three-office space across the street from an old movie theater in midtown Fayetteville.  As the firm continued to grow, Michael completed construction of the office on Remington Drive in Fayetteville in July of 2010 where we currently practice.  Michael and Christian Vaught worked with each other years ago at another local accounting firm.  Christian partnered with Michael in 2014 to become Mauldin Vaught.
